Walshes Alternative Living are a HIA multi-award-winning builder. They specialise in building unique, individual, custom built and architecturally designed homes and commercial projects. The Maribyrnong Project is just one jewel in their crown and was delivered in partnership with Hargreaves as their joinery provider.

This was a high end, complex project with considerable consultation between all parties. The clients vision provided a set foundation for the architecture to work from, and Hargreaves was relied upon to give specialist advice on the use of materials and design elements of the joinery. This included timber species selection, stone consultation and the selection of custom hardware.

There were plenty of highlights for us on this build, with a custom wine cellar, integrated fish tank, combination dry and wet kitchen, as well as featured timber throughout the space. The project was a resounding success, loved by the clients and praised by the Victorian HIA with both Hargreaves and W.A.L awarded blue diamonds for Victorian Kitchen and Bathroom of the year.
