The Lake House is set on the banks of Lake Mulwala, and was a dream-home build for a client with a very clear idea on the purpose of their kitchen – Entertain! 
It needed to look stunning and provide the perfect environment for hosting guests.

Hargreaves ran with the brief, utilising multiple textures and clean geometric shapes, without losing the key functional aspects of a kitchen. Smartsone Athena bench tops were used to provide fashionability and lightness to the joinery. The cabinetwork and featured timber panels were finished in high-gloss, to bring coolness and create a striking contrast in the space. This was all highlighted by LED strip lighting, aluminium framed glass doors, and quality hardware from Hettitch, Hafele & Blum.

We hit the mark and the clients were over-the-moon! The main kitchen now provides great space for preparing meals for dinner parties as well as providing a warm, comfortable space to catch up for a coffee – all while enjoying the stunning views. The flow on effect of the butler’s pantry allows our clients to keep the space looking great, and ready for unexpected visitors at any time.
